The good news is in! Dr. Charles Monteith began performing tubal reversal surgery full-time at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center on July 21, 2008. One month later, a patient from his first day of surgery has reported a positive pregnancy test! Dr. Monteith has been training in tubal reversal surgery with Dr. Gary Berger since January 2008 and became certified as a tubal reversal surgeon in July.

Some women seek to have their tubes untied for many reasons other than to have another child after tubal ligation.
